Before and After...Ayden's Nightstand

My mom bought a bunch of pieces from the nursing home were she works, this was one of them, they are very STURDY and HEAVY!! They would have worked just as they were, but I wanted to have some fun with them, so I got to sanding, priming and spraying!!!

I love how Ayden's turned out!!!

It was a beautiful weekend to get some of "my" projects finished!! And now that harvest is done(THANK GOODNESS) Josh is around to help me carry the furniture where I need it!!


Olivia loves it!! She put her rocker there...it clearly doesn't work!! I found a chair on Overstock that would work, but my mom was over yesterday and thinks she has one in her shed full of treasures that will work....and it's white!!

I snapped a picture of these wicker beauties....my mom found these along side of the road one day with a "FREE" sign on them!! There is another square table in Ayden's room that came with!!

She spray painted them white and they work perfect!!

And yes, those are Olivia's tractors :)...a well rounded girl she is!!

When she was little she would call herself a "Tomboy Princess"!!

Still and ALWAYS Thankful!!!

Yes, I am still reflecting on Thanksgiving!

I think this year was a very special Thanksgiving!!

Mainly because we got to enjoy my mom's DELICIOUS traditional Thanksgiving meal!!

She had a ruff go a few months ago, but obviously God was by her side and for that I am

THANKFUL!!!

I also thought I should list what the kids were thankful for this year!!

Bowen's First Haircut

The time has come, OK, so maybe it came awhile ago....but I just hate cutting off the baby hair!!

I prolonged it as long as I could!!!

This was right after nap, so he looks not quite awake yet!!

He held very still for mommy....well, for about a minute and a half!!!

But, long enough to get round 1 done!

I think he looks like Uh-huh here, from "The Little Rascals"!!

Ugh....do I have to cut the curls off....

....yes, yes I do! Otherwise we would have had a mini mullet man walking around!!
